A Waldhaus summer has many facets

Tennis: four courts, including one indoor court. Outdoor courts free for Waldhaus guests. Resident pro.

Golf: 2 x 18 holes, 10 miles away in Samedan and 17 miles away in Zuoz; through early October. Waldhaus guests are entitled to a discount on greens fees. “Golf Academy” with pro, driving range und six practice holes on the grounds of the Margna hotel in Sils. 

Swimming: in our own pool (28°C/82°F), in Lake Sils (12-18°C/ 55-65°F) or in the saltwater pool of the Schweizerhof Hotel in town (35°C/95°F).

Mountain bikes: for rent at the hotel.

Electro bikes or “Flyers” can now be rented, too. A splendid Swiss innovation that supplements your muscle power with a battery-powered motor. It's worth a try!

Sailing, windsurfing, rowboats: sailing on Lake Sils. Wind surfing classes on Lake Silvaplana. Rowboats for rent on Lake Sils: at Plaun da Lej, or from late June to early October also at the Sils boat landing.

Exercise room at the hotel.

Trout fishing: season from May to Sep. 15.

And much more, be it in the air (by plane, helicopter or hang glider), on ice (the St. Moritz ice rink is open from July 20 through autumn), on horseback or simply on the sidelines (e.g. at a polo match in St. Moritz).
